Nusrat Faria Mazhar is one of the rising actresses in Bangladesh Film Industry Dhallywood. She is well known as an anchor and model. But, in the past one year, she is being known as a film actress. She has acted in a total of 6 films so far among which 2 has been released. Both of them are India-Bangladesh Joint Production films. She is still very young in the acting field and needs to learn many things to make her establish as a good actress.

She was born on 8th September, 1993. Her father is Majharul Islam and mother is Ferdousi Begum. She is the second child of the three children of her parents. Her elder sister’s name is Maria and her brother is Farid. Faria’s grandfather was an Army officer. So, she spent her childhood in a joint family in Dhaka Cantonment.
Nusrat Faria studied in Shaheed Bir Uttam Lt Anwar Girls’ School and College. She got GPA 5.00 in SSC from that school in 2010. She got a golden GPA 5.00 in HSC from Rajuk Uttara Model College in 2012. She was a bright student from her childhood. She did her graduation in BBA from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).
She started her career as a debater in a debate show in BTV in 2010. She won the best debater award. After that, she worked as a disco jockey (DJ) for some days. Her first appearance in TV was as an anchor of the RTV show “Thik Bolchhen To?” But, she got media attention during her anchoring of the NTV show 31st Dhamaka Cox’s Bazar. In January 2013, she was praised for her anchoring of the concert of Sunidhi Chauhan (Bollywood Playback Singer) named “Sunidhi Live Concert”. She anchored many popular TV shows like Late Night Coffee With Nusrat Faria (RTV), Clear SA Live Studio (SA TV), Trend (ATN Bangla), Lux World Of Glamour (GTV), Style & Trend (NTV), Night Shift With Faria (Radio Foorti) etc. Besides, she is the brand model of the fashion house “Dor” and worked as a model for Fair & Lovely, Symphony, Citycell Recharge etc.
