3 Common Mistakes People Do While Using Elevators/Lifts

1. USING ELEVATORS FOR SHORT DISTANCE:
Suppose, you are currently on the 8th floor and need to go to the 7th floor. It will be very easy for you to use the staircase. Instead, many people kill their valuable time by waiting for the elevator.
Again, they kill others time by stopping the elevator for no reason almost. Those who have a hurry, suffer the most by this act.
2. PRESSING THE WRONG BUTTONS:
Pressing the wrong buttons is another mistake many people do during using elevators. There are 2 buttons (one upward and another downward arrow) in each floor beside the elevator gate.
If you want to go to a higher level, you need to press the upward button. If you want to go to the lower level, you need to press the downward button.
But, if you press the wrong button, the elevator will not stop when you need. Rather, it will stop at the time of going to the opposite direction of your need. It also kills time for all who are using that elevator.
3. EXCESSIVE CROWDING IN ELEVATORS: Many people don’t read the instructions written on the inside elevator wall. All the elevators have a maximum weight bearing capacity above which it becomes vulnerable.
Many people don’t read the instructions written on the inside elevator wall. All the elevators have a maximum weight bearing capacity above which it becomes vulnerable.
Sometimes, people don’t want to wait and get inside the elevator by any means. It causes overcrowding and results in tearing of the elevator chains. Then the elevator falls on the ground by the force of gravity.
It causes injuries to bones, heads and may even result in deaths of many of them. So, avoid overcrowding in elevators.
